The ladies of 500 East Boone Avenue will be put to the test early and often this 2006-07 season, from playing North Carolina to Arizona State to Utah to Marquette, and lots more.
There are two unique circumstances to the schedule. Two 8:00PM games will follow men's games in McCarthey Athletic Center. They are not technically doubleheaders but Gonzaga is working on Zag fan get-togethers before, between and after the games, possibly to be held in the Warehouse or the Fieldhouse. Details have not been worked out as of this date.
On November 10, the women play nationally ranked Utah at 8:00PM. The men play EWU a few hours earlier. The building will be emptied then re-entered between games.
On November 30, the women host Seattle Pacific at 8:00PM, again, just a few hours after the men's game. The same procedure will be used.
